Alec Shepley Senior Academic in Fine Arts, University of Lincoln Alec recieved his PhD from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2000, entitled 'Installation Art Practice and the Fluctuating Frame'. His academic research and creative practice focus on ephemeral modes of production in contemporary art; the shifting concepts of space around the rhetoric of the frame and notion of how artists ‘un-art’ practice and occupying the blurred boundary space between artist and viewer and between art and environment.
