Hugo Vickers, royal biographer, lecturer and broadcaster and the foremost expert on the history of the Royal Family has spent almost half a century studying, and writing about, the events leading
up to, and following, the Abdication Crisis of 1936.
He has made many television and radio broadcasts and his Lecture will be of particular interest as one of the exhibits in the Battles and Dynasties Exhibition is Edward VIII’s letter of Abdication.
This is part of a lecture series presented by the Historic Lincoln Trust to accompany the Battles & Dynasties exhibition through the summer of 2017.
