Sew - Create a hand stitched patchwork pannel
Design and create a beautiful hand stitched patchwork panel (approx 16" square - perfect cushion size!), and learn the techniques of English Paper Piercing.
Take inspiration from the Usher Gallery's exhibition of New Photographic Works by James E Smith, and design and sew your own monochrome patchwork piece.
Explore fabric texture, colour and pattern. Design a patchwork piece, create your own templates, and hand stitch your choices of fabric together to produce a personal project to be proud of.
All fabrics and supplies are included, but please bring your own scissors. You are welcome to bring any inspirational fabric you may wish to incorporate into your project - although this is not essential.
Work both in the Usher Gallery and our own workspace in The Collection (with a stunning view of Lincoln Cathedral).
Suitable for all levels, including beginners. Tuition tailored to your skill level will ensure you produce something to be proud of.
£65 for the full day workshop (includes lunch and refreshments).
