The Lincoln Art Summer School is an annual week long intensive workshop for 16-19 year olds. It’s all about collaborating with practicing artists, pushing the boundaries of what art can be through experimental photography, sound as art as well as traditional ways of exploring the world around us such as drawing and sculpture.
The week offers opportunities to explore curation and work alongside practicing artists and take ownership of The Courtyard gallery at The Collection culminating in a summer long exhibition to showcase the multi-sited, multi- disciplinary exploration of an artist’s experience of the everyday. The exhibition, Chaff Bagging Hoppers, features work created solely by these students, so come along and support them!
