Clay Figurines Drop in Workshop
Create an air dry clay Easter figurine with Victoria at this family friendly craft workshop.
In this fun clay workshop with local potter Victoria MacDonald, you can choose to make an Easter animal figurine such as a chick or bunny, an Easter or spring themed decoration, or both! Victoria will guide you through the process by teaching beginner hand-building techniques, and you will be able to take away your creations to paint at home. All materials are provided and this workshop is suitable for all ages and abilities.
No need to book, £2 at the door on the day.*

What to expect:
This workshop is taking place in the Clore Learning room at the Usher Gallery. The Clore learning room is accessible by the entrance of the Usher. To find the Clore learning room, enter the Usher gallery by the glass extension entrance and go to the main door on the left. There are ramps and wide doors to accommodate wheelchairs, and a disabled access toilet oppositive the Clore learning room door, behind the reception desk.
This session will run from 1pm - 4pm
In this event you will be invited to use clay tools and your hands to hand built an air dry clay figurine.
This may be challenging if you have difficulty with hand dexterity, but Victoria will be at hand on the day to assist where required. The workshop will have spaces for up to 15 people at a time so it may be noisy, to help you with this we have noise cancelling head phones and fidget toys available.
