Museums are keepers of collections. These collections can help people understand the past and to examine where their ancestors may have come from. Through good interpretation museums can help visitors analyse the past and explore the influence it has had on who and where they are and upon the culture that surrounds them.
In this tour artefacts will be investigated to see how they may have been used to define Lincolnshire and Britain as a whole. With an emphasis on Iron Age and earlier civilizations, pre-Roman artefacts will be used to help people understand the effect of earlier peoples on the human and physical landscape of Lincolnshire.
