The Tangled Bank

An exhibition which featured interactive digital artwork created by Genetic Moo and The Creative Collective, inspired by the themes found in Microworld: Lincoln. This exhibition featured objects from our collection selected by Genetic Moo alongside new works created by members of the Creative Collective. This Exhibition was shown in the Courtyard Gallery from Saturday 9 July to Sunday 2 October. Branching out from the Microworld: Lincoln exhibition, you could explore the hidden treasures of a tangled bank– imagined animals, miniature creatures and fantastical plants inhabited the space to create an interactive experience.  The Tangled Bank was the result of a collaboration between Genetic Moo and the Creative Collective. For six months prior to the launch, they had been meeting regularly to discuss the evolution of this exhibition, to work on a collaborative digital piece titled The Tangled Bank, and to create their own work in response to themes found in Microworld: Lincoln. Displayed alongside these were objects from our collections selected by Genetic Moo.  The Creative Collective is the Collection Museum's young peoples group. It is open to all young people aged 16 - 25 years with a passion for art and culture.
