symposium; 21st Century Perspectives on Murals & Art on Public Places-films

The purpose of this Symposium was to focus on the perspectives of historians, artists and curators on murals and art in a public space, providing a context to the work of Duncan Grant and Lothar Götz and their work in Lincoln. It also looked at the impact and significance of Grant's work, as well as exploring the role of art in a public space and its effect on society. Supported by the Paul Mellon Centre for Studies in British Art
