We are looking for enthusiastic people who are interested in art and would like to volunteer to invigilate our new exhibition 'THE WORLD IS ALMOST SIX THOUSAND YEARS OLD'.

This exhibition has been guest curated by Tom Morton, contributing editor of Frieze magazine and co-curator of British Art Show 7. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in art and who wants to gain experience in a professional gallery!

So, do you fit the criteria?

Who: Anyone with a few hours to spare who is interested in art and wants to help provide a great experience for visitors and gain experience of working in a gallery.

What: To be an invigilator/gallery guide for the forthcoming exhibition of contemporary art and archaeology at the Collection in Lincoln: 'The World is Almost Six Thousand Years Old'.

Full training and induction for the role will be given.

When: Training will take place on Wednesday 16 and 23 January in the afternoon, and by arrangement for later applicants.

Invigilation dates will be by arrangement between 1 February and 7 May 2013, either during the morning (10 am to 1 pm) or the afternoon (1 pm to 4pm).

Comments

It would seem that your need for volunteers to invigilate an exhibition is long out of date. I would be interested in any future opportunities.
