Directions to Opportunities for Artists and Creatives

Did you know that the Usher Gallery now runs an Artist network event each month? 

 To ensure that this network will be valuable and meet community needs we asked Artists what support they would like and through their answers we came up with a programme of social catch up events, guest talks, bookable studio space and blog posts to help link Artists to knowledge and opportunities.

 Kicking off our regular blog posts are our suggestions of some links that we think you might find helpful as an Artist or Creative:

Artist Newsletter (A-N)
 Artist newsletter is a yearly subscription resource to find opportunities and get the latest news in the UK art scene. As an added benefit, membership also provides the member with public liability insurance.

CVAN East Midlands (Contemporary Visual Arts Network)
 Celebrating Arts and Culture in the East Midlands region, CVAN also lists arts jobs and arts opportunities.

Curator space
 A toolkit, membership based website that allows curators and artists to invite artists submit ideas, access open calls and exhibition opportunities, and  create a profile so curators can find you.

Arts council
 The place to access funding opportunities through the biggest UK arts funding organisation. 

Arts Jobs
 Doing what it says on the tin, Arts Jobs website is a place to find the latest Arts roles in the UK across a wide range of art forms and across all UK#
