Arts Residency – Expression of Interest

The Residency

The Collection, University of Lincoln School of Art & Design and Synapse Arts are inviting emerging artists, within three years of practice to submit expressions of interest for a unique opportunity to work with The Collection, Lincoln.
This residency will aim to provide an emerging artist the opportunity to generate and explore innovative ideas by offering research time in The Collection, Lincoln in order to create new digital work that would expose the work in The Collection to a wider audience. This residency is further supported by Lincoln School of Art and Design and Synapse Arts to provide the successful artist with financial support, mentoring and professional development opportunities.

Expression of Interest
We are inviting expressions of interest from artists and makers wishing to take up this opportunity. We welcome applicants working in any digital and time based artists (sound artists included, but The Collection’s Sound Wall is not available for this project).  It is intended that the work will be hosted on The Collection website or within the gallery where direct participation with an audience is facilitated.
